Graphics and Flexographic Printing Plates
Our prepress department is specialized in flexographic printing requirements. We have a large format color print that runs DuPont's CromaPro color control work flow to match spot and process colors for mock-ups that can be pasted on a box for customer approval. We have a very fast and reliable work flow (ArtWork Systems Nexus) with support for all the industry standard file formats.
We also have a direct to plate system. Higher quality and less dot gain can be achieved by using our direct to plate system. We can image up to 50" x 80" flexo plates in thicknesses from .067" to .250" with our Esko CDI unit.
Flexographic printing (often shortened to flexo) is a printing processes mostly used for printing corrugated boxes, labels, tape and bags. Unlike offset printing, the plates prints directly on the substrate. Over the years flexographic printing has advanced to higher quality printing capabilities. We are constantly updating our software and hardware to stay at the forefront of the industry.
